Anna Rotkirch is a research professor and director at the Population Research Institute in Finland. At the moment she studies fertility, relationship forming as well as cooperation and friendship between generations. She is in charge of an Academic project on romantic relationships among senior citizens. In 2020-2021 Rothkirch is working on a demographic report for the Finnish Prime Minister’s Office. Rotkirch is a senior lecturer at the University of Helsinki as well as a writer and a columnist.
